How to Have Independent On Route/Arrived/Finished Toggles for Multiple Technicians?
Assigning Multiple Technicians to the Same Site for Time Tracking
WorkHorse allows multiple technicians to be assigned to the same site, but there are important considerations for tracking individual time entries (On Route, Arrived, Finished) for each tech.
How Multiple Technicians Work
-
You can assign more than one technician to a single site or job.
-
By default, the On Route / Arrived / Finished toggles are tied to the primary job event.
-
If multiple technicians are assigned to the same event, their time tracking will share the main event’s toggles, meaning individual entries will not be separate.
How to Track Time Separately for Each Technician
To have independent time tracking for each technician:
Create separate events for each technician at the same site.
-
Assign the same site and service details to each event.
-
Technicians can now track their time independently, and reports will reflect individual effort accurately.
