How does WorkHorse Handle Daylight Saving Time?

Understanding Daylight Saving Time (DST) in WorkHorse

WorkHorse automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time (DST) based on the configured company time zone. This means users do not need to manually adjust appointment times when DST begins or ends.

How DST Works in WorkHorse

When Daylight Saving Time occurs, the system will automatically update the displayed time for appointments, events, and service calls according to your company’s time zone.

Because this adjustment is handled by the system:

  • Users should schedule appointments for the exact time they want the job to occur

  • The system will automatically handle the DST shift

  • There is no need to manually add or subtract an hour

Example

If you want to schedule an appointment for 9:00 AM, simply schedule it at 9:00 AM in WorkHorse.

Even if the appointment occurs after a Daylight Saving Time change, WorkHorse will automatically adjust the time behind the scenes so the appointment still occurs at 9:00 AM local time.
